HAVE A HAPPY NEW “YOU” YEAR

Let’s raise hands, how many of us are so ready for this year to end! yes I am not alone!!

Today is the last day of our Gregorian year and here in the north we have woke up to blue skies and the sun shining. It has been weeks of not seeing the sun, or feeling its warmth on my cheeks. We have had mostly foggy grey skies filled with rain or snow. So I consider this a great gift and it helps me raise my vibrations.

2024 has been a great learning curve for me. A mixed bag of emotional turmoil and learning new skills. People I thought would be friends fell away and others stepped in to fill the void. I have reached out to my community, served on boards, taught writing workshops and sold newly learned crochet items at local stores. I also sold more copies of my second poetry book “Soul Expression: The awakening of humanity through poetry” This collection sits in the genre of meditative/metaphysical. It is a call out for the need to awaken and heal humanity. My poetry beckons us to look within and to ask questions about who we are? What is our soul purpose? and how can we find clarity and truth in our world enthralled with lies.

My book is not on Amazon yet so if you want a copy $20.00 shipping included, send me an email at jacquiedenis@hotmail.com or through this site by commenting below.

This year has been emotionally hard as I learn to understand my loneliness and it’s relationship to my creativity. There is a fine balance between having too much alone time and just the right amount, between work and play.

Family personal struggles rose this year as did my faith, as it became the bridge I needed to have something to stand on. It is hard watching others learn their lessons by their own decisions and yet it is brilliantly satisfying to see how they figure things out on their own.

Yes shadow work still needs to be done by all of us and it is not pretty, but this is how we figure out what we want and what is truly important to us. As I look back on this year I encourage you to ask yourself the same questions. What would you do differently? What needs to change? What do you want for the upcoming year? I already began my New Year list, not of resolutions but of creations. Things I want to do and manifest.

If I had to make a prediction I would say that we are all going to be challenged this year! Whether it is in our relationships, families, world views / beliefs or in our realities as societies and countries break down. We may even fall into cognitive dissonance trying to figure things out as lies become truths and truths become lies. It is how we face these challenges that will determine the energy created to solve and fix them.

As I teeter on the edge of recreating myself, I want to remind you of Hope.

“For I know the plans I have for you”, declares the Lord, “Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” Jeremiah 29:11

In keeping aligned to my title I wish all of you a Happy New “YOU” Year, after all you deserve it!

Sincerely, Jacqueline

  1. You are certainly not alone in 2024 being a challenging year! While there have been incredible blessings – primary of which is welcoming my first grandchild! – what stands out most prominently are challenges. Challenges at work in my role, struggles with loneliness (I hear you!), repeating old patterns, health concerns with my parents, worry about my brother’s situation, dealing with the impact of arthritis impacting my mobility. I am not one to set resolutions either, but have set some work-related goals I hope will ease challenges in that regard, and personally, to reconnect/stay connected with friends/family (always a challenge for me), and improve my physical health. I am looking forward to seeing you when you are in town later this month…take good care!
