Perspective is Everything

My plane landed in Toronto, Ontario Canada and the captain informed us of the 38 degrees fahrenheit weather outside. I had just spent a week in Costa Rica with my granddaughter and a close friend. The weather there was 100 degrees the day we departed. Having another 6 1/2 hour journey home I decided to stay in the area with family to acclimatize myself. You see I live in the True North where all the days are short and our winters are long. I knew the weather would be changing soon because we were at peak season for the beautiful fall colors two weeks before I left. Having rested my intuition was pulling at me to leave now before the snow came in. I prepared myself as best as one can, to drive 6 1/2 hours by myself and I left with a positive outlook. I listened to a few podcasts, stopped for needed breaks and felt grateful for the few people who were on the highway at the time. The farther I drove, the more the scenery reached out and grabbed me. I love that island, that rockface, that rest area! More importantly, I loved the trees. I was witnessing the end of the Carolina Forest and welcoming my beautiful Boreal Forest. The scenery became my eye candy. The universe was blessing me today and I acknowledged that! Before I realized it I was safely home, as I expected.

Once home I felt a sense of peace pour over me. I really did miss it. I love travelling but I’m beginning to love being at home just as much. It’s quiet here, it’s my nest where all I love and covet lie. Before falling to sleep I was thinking, this is my grounding spot, where I am balanced and nurtured by the sky, lake and trees. This is home. After a restful night I woke refreshed, I opened my bedroom curtains and this is what I saw.

Our first snow of 2023 fell overnight. Silently shocked, not ready to deal with snow I began to panic. The clouds in the distance told the story of an all-day snow fall. Where are the shovels, salt, boots, winter coats? I haven’t unpacked them yet! I immediately began taking pictures and sending them out to family & friends. Two responses came back. The first one “Yuk” the second one “It’s beautiful” Then I remembered it is all about perception. It is not about our reactions to life’s curve balls it is how we respond to them. I took a deep breath and I chose to respond instead of react. I then appreciated the beauty unfolding, for hours, all day, piling up and I searched for a shovel and cleared my decks & steps. I then sat down and wrote this article to remind you. It is your perspective that creates your day. It is your responses that build the experiences you will encounter. It is remembering you are in control of you!

As I teeter on the edge of reacting from my emotions, I am reminded to respond instead out of a grateful heart, whether my curve balls are positive or negative they are my curve balls to transform so that all things work for my good benefit.

Thank you, Tribe, for following my journey!

Writing Prompts

Hello Tribe, I thought I would share with you today a recent writing prompt that I completed as my never ending journey at writing better articles & poems. Feel free to try this yourself and let me know if you would like more of these prompts in the future.

ALL CLOCKS SUDDENLY STOP. Write about what happens next.

I was sitting in the lounge chair at home reading my next Sasquatch book when a strange feeling came over me. A stillness enveloped the air and I struggled to swallow my next breath. I looked up at the clock 1:11. My first instinct was to blame it on the Angels. They are probably around me confirming my love to connect with the Sasquatch peoples from the 8th dimension. As I curled into myself more, I began reading again. After what should have been a good 20 minutes of reading, I stretched and looked at time again. 1:11 pm My next thought was oh great the batteries have stopped on the clock again. That was strange since I replaced them a month ago. Blaming the dollar store for inactive batteries I ran to replace them. I grabbed my cell on the way to check the real time and 1:11 pm appeared. What the hell! feeling a little strange I walked room to room looking at the clocks which were yelling it’s 1:11 pm you idiot. Dazed and confused I dropped my cell as it began to vibrate and ding. What the hell was going on? Family & friends began to call me asking, as if I had a connection to the divine, what should we do? I smiled and said “Think of your happiest day and what that would look like. Then dream your most amazing dream” that is what I believe we should do. Allow yourself to be in constant state of happiness and bliss, because a synchronicity like this doesn’t happen every day!

Walking with a poets eye

I’m feeling stiff and need a walk, the sun is gleaming and the wind is faint. Song birds wrestle against the spring roar of the waterfall. The hill in my driveway is my first challenge. It is saturated beneath my feet from recent rains.

The firs, cedars and pines bouquet fume the forest. I drink the intoxicating smell. How many times can I walk the same path and still see new life? Grouse and birds scatter, pecking stone and earth. a feathery flustered day. I stop and face the sun, allowing it to enter my space, so warming, healing. I carry on feeling energized.

As my path narrows I see my friend the crow, still dead beneath the fir tree. I placed him there after a nasty car encounter. I memorialized him by plucking some feathers off his bones and placed the feathers on my animal alter at home. I miss his caws. I, like the birds feel free to pick and peck at the garbage thrown from windows, a hasty retrieval to bag and dispose.

As I march I mark time at the Artesian well that springs forth down the mountain, carving new waterways to the inland lake receiving in the valley. The soothing sound echoes against the rocks in its path and bubbles appear then float away. My hike circles around pussy willows bursting the branch, a sure sign of spring. The rock-cut blasted is fractured and falling. Vertical lines like an abstract work of art remind me of human veins. Yes natures art created by human hands.

Now I am mountain climbing. Lichen and moss growing over the incline make it slippery as I plant each foot slowly. Standing tall, queen of the hill, I notice the sky is full of dragon clouds. Spiney outlines, surrounding and protecting, floating ribs of transparency. I imagine one of them is mine and send telepathic messages calling her down. Oh what an imagination conspiring when walking with a poets eye!

Take The Challenge:

On your next walk write down all the things you see, hear, feel or sense. Be present, be creative. Walk connecting yourself to nature and to your imagination. Please leave me a comment below if you accepted the challenge and walked with a poets eye.

The Power of knowing the “Why”

Motives drive our intentions and so it is only logical that the two are fused by design. It’s great to have goals, dreams or aspirations to move us forward on our journey but it is more powerful and important to know the “Why”. The “Why” brings clarity and is the key to fulfillment. The “Why” is our thread to our subconscious, the root to going within. Why do we think this way? act this way? desire this or need that? These questions bring us closer to knowing who we really are and they become the basis to the values and morals we set up as our individuality.

Now is a great time for introspection. When you ask yourself, why am I feeling like this? saying that? or being triggered by something or someone else? the answers may be surprising and self healing as to what they tell you about yourself.

Developing clear motives will help you define your path and life experiences. Knowing when and why to think, feel and act will be like a magnet for miracles to happen. Clearly defined motives driving your intentions is the Law of Attraction that will create the potential for growth in your life.

In the end life is all about being loved. A deeper understanding of your needs could be your next miracle. The “Why” is the buried treasure within you and it’s time to do a little digging. The “Why” will bring you closer to the happiness you seek!

In Unity while uncovering deep truths,

Jacqueline

Write On!

Today my writing prompt said “What do you want to be when you get older & why?”

Well, I’m pushing the 60 + age group and I’m still wondering about who I want to be when I get older. That should tell you something about who I am. I believe we are living in a constant state of learning. The key is to stay open and flexible to all life brings towards you, after all there are teachable moments in those times. Who I want to be is a greater, wiser, lovelier, kinder person. I want to be the face of wisdom, the rock of Gibraltar, the mother of compassion. All I have to figure out is when will I recognize that I am old. What is the age or time that speaks STOP your old now! Will it be when my body gives out, when the ambulance is called or when my children no longer come to see me? I really don’t know, but until that time I will continue on my hero’s journey of self discovery and pick the flowers, turn over the rocks, bath in the Lake and close my eyes so my ears can hear the waterfall.  I will remember to write again on my 140th birthday and let you know how I made out.

Sincerely,

Jacqueline

March Rant

Hello and happy spring to all of you! Today marks the third year I have started blogging and it is the 13th anniversary of Lisa’s death. My how time fly’s and answers still remain elusive as the day she died. As I teeter on the edge I am beginning to realize that it has turned into a wonderful hike. I feel the cool air as I breath in the poison and I am surrounded by deciduous beings blasting out healing energy as I carry on. Two things spring to mind as some of the lessons I have learned, not only of Lisa’s death but for every death that followed hers, and there have been many. This is my flowing list;

My father, Uncle Eddy, Scott, Jenny, Heidi, Shadow, cousin Julie, Uncle Roger, Gwen, Ricky-lee, Rick, Barry, cousin Gloria, cousin George, Neighbors, work acquaintances, and now my Aunt Edna. I still feel like I am leaving someone out.

Firstly “TIME” does help with healing as I crawl my way back onto my path. I now walk with confidence that tomorrow is another day to deal with my emotions, which has become a daily process of acknowledging, receiving, feeling and releasing them. It is a very human problem to push them aside and hide them until we are forced to feel them again. I have learned it is better to get it over with and fill the void with LOVE. Let love in! Love of self, love of the memories, love for each moment I am living. Prayer & meditation have helped me and promising myself to live each day being as authentic and truthful to my journey helps keep me grounded.

Secondly, LOVE never fades for those we long to hold. Finding love, experiencing love and letting love go is the lesson we are here to experience. If love is the greatest feeling we can experience and fear the most profound opposite then I have learned my lessons. For to let love go one must conquer the fear and begin to live again. If we don’t, death will overcome our hearts and we will remain stagnant spiraling into non existence. Love is the answer to every question and the prize at the end of our journey. As I teeter on the edge of my journey I remind you to love your way and through TIME,

the future will prove the past!

Spring Forward,

Jacqueline

The Ripple of Inspiration

Hello Beautiful Souls. I find myself at the cross roads of my annual contemplation of all that has come and all that is to be manifested in the new year. As I write holiday cards, connecting to family, friends and acquaintances, make holiday celebratory plans and sit in silence, I am amazed. I am amazed mentally, emotionally and spiritually for what we have all endured this year. I always have the bigger picture as my zero point and so I do not allow others to move me. I have the ability to allow others to live their lives, making their own choices freely, knowing I chose differently. This is freedom, rights and sovereignty. Each of us creating our own experiences for this lifetime. Let us not forget that hate, separation and disharmony are of the negative ruling factions and Love, Peace and Inclusion are of the positive factions. Putting on the amour of love does not take you out of the battle, it allows you to stand firm, as a light post, directing others to you, shielded by the negative weapons thrown at you. It has now been two years of mental and emotional trauma, humanity brought to their knees, not even knowing who or what has been directing them to this turning point. During this holiday season, keep your hearts open to the greatest possibilities. Let Love Lead you. Holidays can be a time where old memories, childhood experiences and past Christmas traditions, both negative and positive, can resurface. Focus on the path ahead now and where you want to go. We are at another turning point in our lives. You may have been feeling stuck, in a holding pattern, waiting things out. Ask yourself “What have you learned this year?” Reflect on all of your experiences. It’s time to SHIFT, to look at things from a new vantage point. I encourage you to Go Bigger, Go higher, beyond this moment in time, in fact Go beyond this life time! Look at where you have been and decide where it is you want to go next. Stay the course or go forward into a new reality, with new potentials and new possibilities?

I encourage you to reflect on the bigger story here to understand what you have been moving through to see it in a more supportive and empowering way in understanding who you are. Shift it up into new light which better honors your own healing. Let your hearts be open to allow healing.

We are in a spiritual battle. A spiritual battle where I have your back. I will always have a door opened for you. A door that leads to the Healing of Humanity. As my ripple of inspiration heads towards the shore, there is really only one question you need to ask of yourself. “What would love Do?”

In Unity & Peace,

Jacqueline

The Presence of the Divine

There is a force that runs through everything. An energy flowing throughout the cosmos, breathing into each and every moment. There is an unseen flow to our experience and it is ready to ignite the force within you!

Within the darkness of our universe this energy flows onto each planet, to each star and through the plasma of our sun. Light particles bring forth this energy to earth by sun rays, felt on the face lifted up in gratitude. The warmth of this energy can be felt as it touches your skin and goes deep within. Frequency and vibrations attach to your DNA, changing you at the core of your being. A new human, strong, capable, loved by the divine.

The presence of the divine, is a gentle energy, like a soft blanket cuddling you, even as you read this. Your body fills with this energy giving you life. Feel it in your fingertips, your toes, in the beating of your heart. Your creator calls for connection. Your soul remembers and responds. It is time to acknowledge, heal and move forward in a new way.

This is a time to feel good about yourself and how far you have come on your life journey. It is also a time to explore where you want to go and what your future life looks like. What will you do next? or what will you create next?

The presence of the divine in you, once acknowledged and or remembered helps you shift your life, your future. As you create the world around you shifts.

Once you remember who you are, ( a divine being in a human vessel ), you will be able to start the healing process. Higher vibrational energy will clear a path to reconnection of any and all dis-ease within you. With some diet adjustments, possibly some plant energy food, pure water intake and a positive focus, you will be able to see, experience and do many things you thought impossible. Limitations will be released, chains that once bound you will be released. Your limitations are related to the vibration you carry. Change your vibrations and you change everything that you experience!

This journey is about rising up, meeting challenges that you face on a daily basis. This journey is about becoming your higher selves. It has never been about changing scenery, getting rid of the bad people or about leaving everything behind to find a better life. This journey is about the presence of the divine within YOU! You are the shift in consciousness, you are the saviour. It begins and ends with you, and it is your destiny to complete it!

As we teeter on the edge of creating a NEW YOU, my question is; are you going with the flow of energy, connecting, acknowledging, balancing and releasing what does not serve you? or are you kicking and screaming with resistance because you fear change?

OUR WORLD

Today I took a leap of faith, faith in myself as a co-creator. Today I prayed, not for myself, but for you. I prayed as a God would for his creation, as a co-creator would for his world, and as a fellow human being would, wanting only the best for others.

I started my day with a vision of love. I prayed for you today because without love there is no thing substantial in this universe. Love is the glue, the consciousness that binds us and all things around us. In truth, without love there is no vision!

I prayed for you because whether you realize it or not, you are a part of my worldly existence. You play a role in the vast experiment we call life. Your decisions affect not only yourself but all those around you.

My vision of humanity is to be Human Strong! We are great creator beings, full of imagination and wonder. There is nothing we can not invent. Lets use this creative gift and build a world of Love. Humanity will rise against this manipulation/control and warfare/torture that surrounds us and we will accept the challenge to create the world we really want. A world that unites us instead of dividing us. We are a unique species. Lets create a world that is eager for peace and a future that exemplifies the qualities of this peace.

Let us be like the hiker teetering on a pathway that leads over the edge of a cliff, wanting only adventure and a new future, and take the leap of faith that brings us one step closer to achieving the world we really want.

Today I took this leap of faith, today I prayed for you!
